Kenneth Earl Finger, age 99, passed away April, 24, 2020, in Syracuse, NY. He was born Dec. 30, 1920 in Rochester New York, son of Edwin and Viola Finger.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his beloved wife of 76 years, Grace, his daughter Judy Brown, his son James Finger, daughter-in-law Pamala Delles, six grandchildren, and 15 great
grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son David Finger, son-in-law Richard Brown, brother Edward Finger and sister Evelyn Matthias.
Ken was a decorated WWII army pilot and flew the first plane US plane to land in Berlin at the end of the war. He retired from Kodak’s roll coating division in 1982. Ken enjoyed almost 70 summers in Thousand Island Park, surrounded by family and friends or out on the river fishing for the “big one that got away.”
