Laurie A. Wheeler, 52, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully at home September 18th, surrounded by her loving family. She was born to the late Thomas Taylor and Donna (Sager) Taylor on February 26th, 1969 in Syracuse. Laurie spent her life as a caregiver and loving mother. Laurie was diagnosed with ALS in April of 2019, she fought for her independence til the very end so courageously. Prior to her diagnosis she enjoyed time spent with friends and family. She gave endless love, was creative and amazing with cooking. She had the most unique hairstyle, which was always a different color. She had a carefree spirit and an infectious laugh. She was loved and will be missed by so many.
