It is with deep sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of Linda K. Koehne, 85, on May 16, 2025.  Linda was born in Flint, Michigan, on November 17, 1939, to Charles and Florence Mirgon. She graduated from Flint Central High School in 1957 and continued her education at Central Michigan University before earning a Master's Degree in Education from Cortland College. Linda dedicated over 25 years of her life to teaching, specializing in early childhood education. She began her career at Jack and Jill Nursery School and concluded it at Park Hill School, where she taught Pre-K for many years. She was a lifelong member of Dewitt Community Church. Linda is survived by her beloved children, Jeff (Nathalie) Koehne and Alicia (James) Burgun; her cherished grandchildren, Tyler and Phoebe Koehne, Alexa, Kayla and Michael Burgun; her treasured first cousin, Judy (Richard) George; cousins, sister-in-law and nieces; and many friends who were like family. She was cherished for her beautiful spirit, her kindness, her humor, her zest for life, and her profound love for her family and friends. Per her wishes, there will be no services. Her family will have a private celebration of life at a later date.
