Marilyn McMahon Morgan, a lifelong Syracuse native, passed away peacefully on 11/13/23 after a several year struggle with dementia. She is survived by her beloved husband of 53 years, William Morgan, whom she met at Velasko Stables where she was working when he delivered a load of hay. Also surviving are her 4 children, Bridget, Kalim, Maureen, Bill, and her brother Dana McMahon.
Marilyn was active in the community as a real estate agent and broker, as a volunteer for the Camillus Erie Canal restoration, as an Al-Anon member, and as a congregant of the Cathedral of The Immaculate Conception. In her quiet time, Marilyn was a master knitter, and an avid reader. She meditated and practiced Tai Chi daily. With her great sense of humor and generous heart, Marilyn was a loving wife and mother who always made room in her home for dogs, cats and humans alike by her talent for making all feel special in her presence.
