Mary N. (Veneroso) Fetterly

It is with great sadness that the family of Mary Fetterly announces her passing on
November 25,2021.
   Mary ( Veneroso) Fetterly passed away peacefully with her family at her side. She is 
pre-deceased by her husband of 54 years,
Harold Fetterly.
     She is survived by her 5 children, Michael
Fetterly of Syracuse, Sharon Forani also of Syracuse. Laureen( Mark) Polifroni of Cicero, 
Patricia ( William) DiBello of Elbridge,
Jacqueline ( Christopher) Jenner of Central Square. Also several  grandchildren and great  grandchildren .
       Mary worked at Holy Trinity both the church and the school.At the school she worked in the library. She assisted the children in picking out books and reading to them. The school closed and she then got a job as a “Lunch Lady” with the Syracuse School district at Franklin Elementary School.
       She was genuine, a loving soul with enough compassion and empathy that would fill a room.The children loved her and named her “Miss Mary”.A smile and kind words to any child that needed their day to get better.
She always loved  going to work and worked up until she was 83.
     How blessed we were to have her in our lives!!!She was always,always there to comfort and help. A phone call away. She will be missed so very much words can’t express.Heaven has wrapped their arms around her welcoming her home

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday at 10am in St. John the Baptist Church. Calling hour will be from 9-10am at the church prior to the Mass. Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery.
