Michael A. King, 41, of Auburn, NY, formerly of Worcester, MA passed away on May 5th. He was born in Worcester, MA and attended the Jacob Hiatt Magnet School, Assabet Valley Regional Voc. Tech. High School and Toni and Guy Academy.
He was involved in Foothills Theatre and local theatre which led him to his dream of working on Broadway. He worked as a wig builder and hair/makeup supervisor on countless productions in Boston, NYC, Las Vegas, on and off Broadway, Disney Cruise Lines, Cape Playhouse, local and international touring shows around the world. Michael also taught at Syracuse University College of Visual/Performing Arts. He volunteered on Broadway Cares, NYC and as a youngster, with his Memere at many fundraisers for NAMI.
He leaves his mother, Lynne M. Erickson, a brother, Jalen Njoroge, both of NY State, his grandfather, Kenneth J. Erickson of Milbury, MA, beloved Aunts and Uncles, cousins and friends who will remember him for his sense of humor, his talent and creativity, and most of all his huge heart.
