Patricia A. (Kulesa) Zacharek

Patricia A. Zacharek, 88, of East Syracuse, passed away May 2, 2021. She was born in Syracuse and was a communicant of St. Matthew's Church. She was a teacher at St. Matthew's School for 32 years before her retirement.

She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph "Rusty" Zacharek. Survived by her daughters, Cheryl Walker of North Syracuse, Sandra (Geoff) Rogers of Clifton Park, NY and Carole (Daniel) Conlan of Baldwinsville; her grandchildren, Corie (Greg) Portzline, Scott Walker, Jaime (Matt) Iannelli, Elizabeth Rogers, Daniel Conlan and Patricia Conlan; 4 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 10:30am Thursday at Mathewson-Forani Funeral Home, Inc. and 11am in St. Matthew's Church. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Dewitt. Calling hours are Wednesday from 4-7pm at the funeral home, 206 Kinne St., East Syracuse.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
