Patrick Monaghan Obituary

Patrick "Porky" Monaghan passed away suddenly due to complications of Covid. Porky was predeceased by his parents Patrick and Louise (Worden) Monaghan, Sr. He was also predeceased by his siblings John, Mark, Sharon and Deborah Monaghan and a grandson, Johnathan Fox.

Porky was an avid bowler and golfer and loved going to the casinos with his long time love Laraine. Porky was known for his sense of humor and his positive outlook on things. He could always "turn around" and put a smile on your face. He will be deeply missed.

Porky is survived by his fiance', Laraine Fox of N. Syracuse; his daughters, Heather (Dwight) of Florida, Shannon (Smokey), Amanda, Megan and Kathryne of Syracuse, Bianca of Liverpool, Heidi (John) of Mattydale and sons, Ronnie (Tonja) of Florida and Rodney of Wisconsin. He had over 30 grandchildren and great grandchildren. Patrick was also survived by sisters, Patricia Monaghan, Bridget Monaghan, Venus Dyette, Margaret Stockton, Linda Minor, Donna Oot and Rene Murtaugh; his brothers, Steven Monaghan, Donald Worden and Robin Worden.

There will be a celebration of life hosted by his daughter Shannon on July 17th. Information to follow. He will be laid to rest at the Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum on Grant Blvd in Syracuse.
