Paul Durgey, Jr. Obituary

Paul J. Durgey, Jr. (PJ) 59, of Mattydale, unexpectedly passed away in his sleep on November 25. He was aloving father, devoted husband, and caring son and brother.

He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Durgey; son Drew; father, Paul Durgey; sisters, Deborah (Bob) Burchfield and Marianne (Scott) Spratt; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother, Joan (Hall) Durgey, his brother, Michael J. Durgey, his step-mother, Margaret (Goode) Durgey and his loving grandmother, Helen Shore.

Paul was an avid Washington Redskins fan. He loved a good adventure and always had a story to share. He had a great sense of humor and a kind heart. He enjoyed fishing with his son who was the light of his life.

Due to Covid restraints there will be no calling hours and a private family burial.

As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be sent to the Food Bank of CNY.
