Paula E. (Bean) Reichert

Paula Elizabeth Reichert (Bean), of Liverpool - Born in St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin on August 16, 1955, Paula passed away after battling pancreatic cancer on June 12, 2021 at the age of 65.  Paula is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Edward Reichert; her daughter, Sara (Dan) Rife; and son, Jeremy Reichert.  Paula is also survived by her parents, Paul and Dolores Bean; brothers, Craig (Lisa) Bean; Stephen (Lee-Ann) Bean; sister, Carol (Kenny) Wezelis.  Paula leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Paula graduated from SUNY Oswego in 1977 and recently retired from the Syracuse City School District where she was an Administrative Assistant for 14 years.  Paula was also a Girl Scout leader for 20 years including the years that her daughter, Sara, was in the troop. She also served as Service Unit Manager for the Syracuse area.  Paula was very involved with St. Augustine’s Church in Baldwinsville where she served on many committees during her 38 years at the parish.  Paula became a member of the Baldwinsville Alzheimer’s support group after her mother-in-law was diagnosed.

Paula will be remembered most by those who knew and loved her as a strong, loving, deeply caring and passionate woman who spent the majority of her life volunteering her time within her community. Paula loved the ocean, lighthouses, traveling, the Red Sox, road trips, helping others and her family and friends. Her extended family loved her for her ability to talk and listen, to always be present at every family event, and the lovely counted cross stitch pieces she gave as gifts over the years that bring joy every day to those blessed enough to receive them.

Calling hours will be held at St. Augustine’s Church, 7333 O'Brien Rd, Baldwinsville, NY on Friday, June 18, 2021 from 9 to 11 a.m.  Paula’s celebration of life mass will immediately follow at 11 a.m. Inurnment to be held at a later date. Leave condolences at mathewsonforani.com
