Randall "Randy" Todd Sturr

Randall “Randy” Todd Sturr, of Syracuse NY, passed away on Saturday, October 30, 2021. Randy was born July 11, 1976 in Utica, NY to Bernard and Sylvia (Docko) Sturr. He attended elementary and middle school in New Hartford, NY, and high school in Cicero, NY. In his earlier years, he enjoyed spending time at the St. Lawrence River, camping, fishing, frog catching, and boating. Randy loved listening to and playing music, often found at music festivals and live shows. He was also a talented artist, favoring pencil sketch and charcoal drawing. Those who knew him well understood his kind soul, sharp wit, and hilarious sense of humor.

The family would like to thank Randy’s many friends who were his constant source of support and kindness. We would especially like to thank Nancy Cox and the Trovato family for their caring attention and friendship.

Randy is survived by his brother and sister-in-law Bernard J. Jr and Kathryn (Goetzke) Sturr of Florida, and his sister Jennifer L. Sturr of Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard J. and Sylvia A. Sturr. A celebration of life will be held at a future date.
