Ray Mahagan Obituary
Ray Peacock Mahagan formerly of Onondaga Street, Skaneateles, passed away on June 20, 2022. He was born in Syracuse on March 4, 1937 to William and Charlotte Mahagan. He was predeceased by his sister Anne Yardley, and most recently his wife of 56 years, Mary Mahagan. He is survived by his children Toni Pedley, Sherryl Tamburrino, Lisa Hall (Randy) and Michael Mahagan (Kim) and grandchildren Michael, Bill, Bobbie Ann, John, Bridget, Greg and Andrew.
He spent nearly his entire life in the construction industry and most of his career as an independent building contractor. He left his mark on countless commercial and residential properties in Skaneateles and all around New York State for generations to come. He was extremely generous, almost to a fault, as he would donate his time, tools and expertise to family, friends, and neighbors.
Funeral arrangements are at the discretion of the family. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Skaneateles Lake Association.
