Richard Gene Stoutenger

Richard Gene Stoutenger, 78 years old, of Solvay passed away at his daughter Kims home in the care of family and in the arms of those who loved him on Sunday evening, December 13, 2020 after a long battle with cancer.
 

Born in Phoenix, NY on February 1, 1942. As the Son of Richard and Etta Stoutenger, he was the oldest of 11 siblings in a blended family including Raymond, Ronnie, Doug, Jimmy, Larry, Danny, Lyn, Sandy, Peggy, Luella and Bonnie. He graduated from Phoenix High School. He served his country 9yrs concluding his service in 1970  as a Staff Sergeant in the US Marine Corp and a Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was an avid hunter and fisherman throughout his life.

Richard was widower of Roxanne Stoutenger and survived by his ex-wife Sandy Hitchcock, son Kenneth Stoutenger, daughters Christine Stoutenger, Julie Stoutenger Orso, Kimberly Stoutenger and Grandson, Anthony Orso. Per his wishes no services will be held. Flowers may be sent to the funeral home.
