Rosemary (Cole) Damiano

COLE – Rosemary Damiano, 86, formerly of Athens, PA, died on December 7, 2023 at Saint Camillus, Syracuse, NY following a lengthy illness. She was born in Athens, PA on February 5, 1937, the daughter of the late Vern and Josephine Cole.  

Rosemary married Daniel Damiano on June 25, 1960, where they lived in Elmira, NY, Endicott, NY, West Palm Beach, FL, until moving to Liverpool, NY. She was employed with ABD Machine owned by her loving husband. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, a kind and loving person, who enjoyed helping others when in need. 

She is predeceased by her parents,Vern Cole in 1987, her mother Josephine Cole in 2009, her daughter Pamela Damiano in 2021, and great grandson Justin Damiano. 

Rosemary is survived by husband Daniel Damiano of Liverpool, NY, her daughter Roxanne Furman of Inverness, FL, and son Christopher Damiano of Liverpool, NY; grandchildren Lissa Carlton, Krista Jones, Dustin and Michelle Damiano, Raymond Barth and Kelly Alger, Brittany Damiano, Rosemary and Shannon Damiano, Skyler Damiano; 13 great-grandchildren and nieces Karla and Barb and great-nieces. At the request of the family, services will be private.

Arrangements are under the care of the Mathewson-Forani Funeral Home.
