Roshan Mistry

Roshan N, Mistry, 84, of Fayetteville, NY died at home, with her husband by her side, on November 21, 2024.

She was born in Mumbai, India in 1940 to Phiroze and Alloo Bisney. Roshan was top of her class at the Sydenham College of Commerce and Economics, and The London School of Economics.

She worked at the Bank of India as an Economics & Financial Advisor in Mumbai, and served as an IAS Officer with the Information & Broadcasting Ministry group in Delhi, India, working under Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Phiroze and Alloo Bisney, and sister Parviz Batliwalla.

She is survived by daughter Yasmin Mistry (Andrew Haner) and brother-in-law Russy Batliwalla.
