Sandra Mae (Warner) Sierzputowski

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Sandra Mae Sierzputowski (Warner), who passed away on December 15, 2024 at the age of 73. Born on July 4, 1951, in Syracuse, NY, she grew up in East Syracuse and later moved to Eastwood, to ultimately return to her hometown of East Syracuse.

Sandra was a dedicated mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband, Alan, sons, Marty (Jennifer) Piraino and Bill Warner, and four grandchildren, Sage, Daly, Grady and Rory.

Sandra lived a fulfilling life and was a woman of many talents. She had a passion for cooking and baking, and her homemade holiday meals were always a highlight. She also loved tending to her colorful and beautiful hanging plants and numerous flower beds surrounding her home. Sandra was a kind and generous soul, always putting others’ needs before her own. Her love and compassion extended to all those who knew her.

Calling hours will be held from 10 am to 12 pm on Friday December 20, 2024 at Mathewson-Forani Funeral Home Inc., 206 Kinne St., East Syracuse, with a funeral service directly after at 12 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Lung Association in memory of Sandra Mae Sierzputowski. 

Rest in peace, dear mother. You will forever be in our hearts and memories.
