Stephen V. Quinlan 68 of Marietta, passed away suddenly on April 20, 2020. Born in Syracuse to Jack and Mary Jane (Burke) Quinlan. Steve was raised on Tipperary Hill and graduated from Corcoran High school in 1970. He started his working career in auto body, and later was a machinist at Lamson and Carrier, where his intelligence and perfectionism served him well. He ended his working life as a truck driver, a job he never really warmed to. Steve traveled to Mexico on scuba diving trips, and also traveled in Europe. He enjoyed trap shooting, as well as fishing from his dock. He was predeceased by his parents and sister Nancy. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his brothers John, Thomas and James Quinlan, a sister Joan Dwyer, many nieces, nephews and cousins to whom he has always been generous, and many friends. We hope to have a memorial get together when people are able to gather again. Leave condolences at mathewsonforani.com
