Stephen F. Verescak

Stephen was a life resident of East Syracuse. He graduated from St Matthews School where he was an altar boy,  He graduated from East Syracuse Minoa High School. He was a cub scout, boy scout, Explorer scout, Junior Leader, Ad Altare Dei Recipient, Order of the Arrow and Leader of Troop 111 for 40 years.  
     In the mid 1980's he was named East Syracuse "Man of the Year" at an awards dinner at the VFW hall,  
     He enjoyed gardening, world travel, collecting and trading, garage and estate sales, his neighbors and last but not least his cat.
Steve has and had many friends with roots in East Syracuse. Our heartfelt thanks  and gratitude goes out to all who helped him in his latest time of need.  Including, East Syracuse Fire Rescue, The Dewitt Police, his neighbors, Frank Fowler and Brad Cretaro and especially his dear friends Helen and Henry Seef.
Steve is survived by his brother Michael (Karen) and  5 nieces and nephews, 9 grand nieces and nephews and 3 great grand nieces and nephew.
     There will be a memorial service for Steve at a later date.
