Susan deLima, 73, a lifelong resident of Syracuse passed away January 1, 2021 at home surrounded by her husband and children.
Susan was born to David and Pauline deLima on September 9, 1947.
Susan was a 1965 graduate of Nottingham High School, she attended Colby College and Syracuse University. She owned Handworks Yarn Shop in DeWitt for over ten years before pursuing a career in real estate at FM Realty. Susan was an active member of the community and church. She attended Plymouth Congregational Church where she sang in the choir, volunteered at their food pantry and helped coordinate annual fund raising efforts for the church during the Syracuse Arts and Crafts Festival.
Susan was predeceased by her father David deLima. She is survived by her mother, Pauline Komar, husband Jeffrey Drew, children Jennifer Rizzio (Gary), Carolyn Dabrowiak (Rob), Andrew Piron (Erin), Laura Makuch, step-son Brendon Drew (Sherri), 11 grandchildren, sisters Barbara deLima (Paul), Carolyn Yandon (Chuck), Kristin Swift (Steve) as well as two nieces and a nephew
Services will be held at Plymouth Congregational Church, 232 E Onondaga St, Syracuse, NY 13202 at 11:00am on Friday July 9th, 2021.
