Teresa M. (Marcely) Neider

Teresa M Neider, 58, of East Syracuse passed away October 18, 2020 surrounded by her husband and her daughter Rebecca. She was born in Syracuse and was employed as a front end manager for Wegmans in East Syracuse for many years. She was a member of the Arthur Butler American Legion Post 359 Auxiliary. 
She is survived by her husband Timothy Neider Sr., children Rebecca Clayton of East Syracuse, Crystalyn Parsons of NC; step children, Tara Horning, Timothy Neider Jr., Thomas Neider, and Tricia Neider; Her grandchildren Nicholas Jr, Brittyn, Deacon, Kahlil, Kingsley, McAllister, Merriweather, Grace, Annie and Matthew. Siblings Sharon Labonoski and her partner Gary Haverdick of PA, Patricia Marcely of New Hampshire, Dennis Marcely, Sr and his wife Kathy of Chittenango, Carol Marcely and her wife Mary Jo of New Hampshire, Daniel Marcely and his wife Eva of Virginia, Jacquelyn Paventy and her husband John of Onondaga; Several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Teresa had a profound love for gardening, camping, animals, her family & her community.  
 

The following was her favorite quote ‘Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.’

Calling hours are Thursday from 4-7pm at Mathewson-Forani Funeral Home, inc., 206 Kinne St., East Syracuse, NY. Burial will be in White Chapel Memory Gardens. 
 

The Ladies Auxiliary from Arthur Butler American Legion Post 359 will be doing a prayer service at 6pm.
