Thomas E. Raminger, 84, of Windsor NY passed away Friday Morning 8/1/2025 from a brief illness with family at his side. He was born in Syracuse, NY to the late Amy Raminger. Tom was well known as Grumpy by family and close friends and also known as Wrong by his siblings and wrong way Indian by his co-workers and later became his CB handle name. He loved hunting and fishing; he would often take his boat salmon fishing. He was enrolled member of the St. Regis Mohawk Tribe. He was also a life member of Local 158 and local 60 Irons Workers Union. He is preceded in death by his mother the late Amy Raminger, wife Margaret E Raminger, sister Kathleen and Russell Corp, brother Gary and Susan Raminger. He is survived by his children Cindy Husnay (David Husnay), Thomas E. Raminger, Jr., Barbara Stark (Carl Stark), his siblings Noreen Harp, Dennis Raminger, and Kevin Barnaba, He was greatly loved by his 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren who all called him “Grumpy”. Grumpy had many nieces and nephews. He had a love of Jeeps and owned many. "It's a jeep thing you wouldn't understand”. Grumpy was loved and will be missed by all. Private services will be held at a later date on his reservation.
