Vasilios "Bill" Raptis

Vasilios Raptis (also known as Bill), 75, of Syracuse, New York, passed away Thursday, May 20. He was originally from Serres, Greece. He is survived by his wife, Niki, two sons, Ioannis and Konstantinos, and brother, Stefanos.

He owned and operated Serres Donut Shop in East Syracuse, New York with his wife, Niki, and family. He was a member of St. Sophia’s Greek Orthodox Church. He loved his family very much, and enjoyed spending time with them.

Funeral services are Tuesday at 12pm at St. Sophia’s Greek Orthodox Church.  He will be laid to rest at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Dewitt. Calling hours are Monday from 2-5pm at Mathewson-Forani Funeral Home, inc., 206 Kinne St., East Syracuse.
