Obituary

Vernelle Evans, 80, of DeWitt, NY, fell asleep in death 2/1/23 from complications of pneumonia. “Verne” was born 5/12/1942 to Cleavon and Minnie Starling in Florida.

She is survived by Josh Evans, her husband of 60 years, two sons Josh and Luis and two daughters Shawn and Sharlene (Emanuel). She is also survived by six grandchildren, Josh, Corinne, NiJohn, Jamir, Caitlyn, Ava and many nieces and nephews.

She loved traveling, gardening and the Eastern shore. She had great faith in God and enjoyed sharing the grand promises she found in the Bible with others as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Her memorial talk will be presented April 1st,  2023 on Zoom.
