Victoria (DeCesare) Zaganczyk

Victoria Zaganczyk, 91, of East Syracuse, passed away March 2, 2024. She was born in Italy and was a  longtime resident of East Syracuse. She attended old Minoa High School and was formerly employed by Conrail.  

She was predeceased by her husband, Edward Zaganczyk, her parents, Nick and Rose DeCesare and sister, Mary Wilsey.

She is survived by her children, Mary(Jim) Carrick of Virginia and Edward Zaganczyk (Donna Matteson) of Fulton, two grandchildren, Meagan and Brendan Carrick, brothers, Michael DeCesare of Minoa and Nicholas (Kathy) DeCesare of Minoa and loving aunt to several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours are Tuesday from 9-10:30am at Mathewson-Forani Funeral Home, Inc., 206 Kinne St., East Syracuse with a Funeral Mass to follow at 11am at St. Matthew’s Church. Burial will be in the VA Cemetery
