Wanda Coombs Obituary

Wanda (Eng) Coombs, 60, of Jamesville, NY, passed away peacefully on September 22, 2023 after a long battle with cancer. She was born in NYC, daughter of the late Jack and Li Ping Eng.

Wanda retired from Upstate Medical Research Corp. after 35 dedicated years. She was a graduate of Stuyvesant High School and graduated from Binghamton University with a BS in Biology. She loved reading books, knitting, crafts and sharing time with family and friends.

She also loved traveling both stateside and abroad. Wanda took pride in knowing she was the best fisherman in the family.

Wanda is survived by her husband, Jeffrey Coombs, her daughter, Samantha Coombs, her sister, Gladys Eng and her brother, Andrew Eng along with several nieces and nephews. She will be missed dearly.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to Upstate Cancer Center or Food Bank of CNY.
