William Josiah Hopkinson

William Josiah Hopkinson, of Manlius, passed away on Friday, November 19, 2021.

William is survived by his family members: Jonathan and Barbara (McDowell) Hopkinson of Olathe, Kansas; David and Debra (Crump) Hopkinson of Hartford, Connecticut; Wendy Hopkinson and Mark Ferreira of Schenectady, NY; Heidi and Bob Escobar of Liverpool, NY; Harold and Donna Hopkinson III of West Bloomfield, Michigan. , as well as nephews and nieces Dan, Chris, Elizabeth, Aaron, Emily, Jarrett, Andrew, Lorrell, Brian, Matthew, Sam, Harold IV, Owen, Evan, and Andrew.  William was predeceased by his parents, Betty (Noyes) Hopkinson and Harold Henry Hopkinson Jr.

William spent most of his life as a resident of Manlius, NY, and recently had moved to Chittenango.  He enjoyed camping, fishing, and skiing, as well as trips to visit family, especially to the birthplace of his parents, Aroostook County, Maine.

His ready smile, positive outlook, and generous spirit will be missed.
