William James Perrigo Sr., of Syracuse, New York, passed away on March 2, 2026, at the age of 76.
William was a proud lifetime member of the East Syracuse Fire Department, where he served his community with dedication and commitment. A devoted fan of the Buffalo Bills, he rarely missed a chance to cheer them on. He found great joy in fishing and especially treasured the time he spent with his family. His love for them was the center of his life.
He was predeceased by his mother, Eleanor (Burgmeier) Perrigo, and his father Jasper Perrigo.
William is survived by his wife of 57 years Mary Perrigo, his children, Dawn (Mark) Perrigo-Quonce and William (Kristen) Perrigo; his grandchildren, Brittney, MaKenzie (Killian), Madison (Ben), and Kaydence; and his great-granddaughters, Avianna, Audrey and Aurora and his first grandson Hudson.
He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
Help us honor a life that brought so much joy to others on March 28th from 1-6pm at the American legion 135 W Manlius St #139, East Syracuse, NY 13057
