Wylan Alfred Liddle

Wylan Alfred Liddle , 96 of Fayetteville NY, peacefully entered the Kingdom of Heaven  Feb 20, 2022 at Crouse Hospital.

Wylan was born June 17, 1925 in Endicott NY to Marvin and Viva (Spaulding) Liddle . He married “his bride” Joan Hiller in 1952. 

Wylan is predeceased by his bride Joan and his brother Wayne Liddle. 

He served in the Air force from 1943 to 1953 as a trained Navigator and radio/sonar engineer.

After his military career he obtained his engineering degree from Syracuse University graduating Magna Cum Laude. He then started his long career at General Electric as a Sonar Engineer in Heavy Military Electronics , retiring in 1991. 

Wylan and his wife Joan were one of the original families who founded Eastern Hills Bible Church in Manlius , NY. 

Wylan is survived by his children, Thomas (Susan) Liddle of Townsend, MA,  Douglas (Evelyn) Liddle of Phoenix, NY,  Deborah (Renea) Jones of Temecula CA, Sandra (Roger) Bradley of Forestport, NY. His grandchildren, Jeff, Sarah, Jennifer , Stephanie , Courtney , Paige and Madison , 6 great children and his niece Kathy Mowins of Fayetteville. 


Graveside service will  April 22 at 11 am at the Fayetteville Cemetery in Fayetteville, NY.
